United States
As the world's largest economy, it's a
significant leader in the fields of agriculture, education, energy,
health care, high-tech, service industries, space exploration, and
manufacturing of all descriptions. The country includes (50) states;
(48) continental states, plus Alaska and Hawaii, the newest state.
Dozens of major cities cover the land from coast-to-coast, and
Washington D.C., the capital, reflects the incredible history of
America, and stands as a proud symbol of its freedom, liberty, and
justice for all.

Mexico Mexico is a
traveler's paradise, crammed with a multitude of opposing
identities: desert landscapes, snow-capped volcanoes, ancient ruins,
teeming industrialized cities, time-warped colonial towns, glitzy
resorts, lonely beaches and a world-beating collection of flora and
fauna. This mix of modern and traditional, the clichéd and the
surreal, is the key to Mexico's charm, whether your passion is
throwing back margaritas, listening to howler monkeys, surfing the
Mexican Pipeline, scrambling over Mayan ruins or expanding your Day
of the Dead collection of possible skeletons.

Caribbean
Travel to any of the hundreds of Caribbean
tropical isles some call paradise. As befits heaven- on-earth, there
is much to enjoy, see and do. Beaches, boats, banks and bikinis are
Caribbean vacation
essentials. But the No 1 playground for the Americas also comprises
movie-set beauty, coconut-tree-clad mountains, verdant valleys of
sugar cane and bananas, and seashore galore. Caribbean cities glow
with glorious architecture in communities established long before
the automobile.

Brazil
Brazil shares a border with almost every other
country in South America--only Chile and Ecuador are untouched--and
covers almost half the continent. It is the fifth largest country in
the world, behind Russia, Canada, China, and the U.S.A., with an
area of eight and a half million square kilometers. Despite its vast
expanse of territory, Brazil's population is concentrated in the
major cities of its coast. The urban sprawls of Rio de Janeiro and
Sao Paulo dominate the southern coast. Further north, towns such as
Salvador and João Pessoa retain the colonial atmosphere of the early
Portuguese settlers.

Europe
The planet's 6th largest continent, includes (46) countries, and a
few dependencies, territories and regions. In exacting geographic
definitions, Europe is really not a continent, but part of the
peninsula of Eurasia, which includes all of Europe and Asia.
However, (most geographers today) refer to it as an individual
continent.
Europe (in green) is separated from Asia by Russia's Ural Mountains
in the east, and the Caspian and Black Seas in the southeast.

Middle East
The Middle East (or West Asia) sits where Africa, Asia and Europe
meet. The countries of the Middle East are all part of Asia, but for
clarity reasons we geographically show them here as a separate
landmass. Opinions vary as to what countries make up the modern
definition of the Middle East. Historically, Armenia and Azerbaijan
have been long associated with the Middle East, but in recent years,
some sources now consider them to be more closely aligned with
Europe based on their modern economic and political trends. We have
moved in that direction, and the same applies for the island country
of Cyprus, as it does for Georgia, the former Russian republic.
